L. Clark Early Day Farmer, Long Time Barber Early day residents here are Mrs. F. L. Clark and her husband, the late Mr. Forest Clark. He was born in Georgia but came here with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. F. Clark, when he was three years old. Mrs. Clark was born in Erath County, Texas and moved to Bronte with her parents when she was 16. Mr. Clark was engaged in farming, worked a time in a hardware store. This establishment burned in 1910 and he took up the barber trade, operating a shop here until a few years before his death April 24, 1960.
