A dance was enjoyed at the home of Mr. GAMBILLS at Silver, by all who went. Some were said to have walked a little "crooked" but I guess it's because it's so close to Christmas. EARL ADKINS and family killed hogs Monday, most everyone else at Sanco has already shot and butchered their hogs. Quite a crowd of young people met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Artell Roberts Christmas night and went to the Harmon home and shivareed the newlyweds. Miss AZALETE RUSSELL, who is teaching school at Tyler is home for Christmas. Nearly Everybody has the flue this week and no medicine--drank it all up for Christmas - so they postponed the opening of school till Monday. We don't know yet whether we'll publish a paper next week or not. So if you don't get one, don't be surprised.
