SHEILA ANN WALLACE

Funeral for Sheila Ann Wallace, 59, of Montalba was at 2 p.m., Tuesday in the Wallace Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Johnny Emerson officiating. Burial was in Russell Cemetery on FM 23.

Mrs. Wallace died March 7. She was born Dec. 19, 1948, in Riverside, Calif. to Milton and Martha Beasley Singletary.

She was a resident of Montalba and formerly lived in Rusk. She was a member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Rusk and a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mickey Singletary; mother-in law and father-in-law, Mildred and Walter Wallace; and stepmother, Klara Singletary.

Survivors are her husband, Bill Wallace of Montalba; son and daughter-in-law, Gail and Denise Wallace of Rusk; daughter and son-in-law, Yolanda and Don Gutierrez of Albuquerque, N. M.; father, Milton Singletary of Reklaw; mother and stepfather, Martha and Kenneth Birdwell of Lake Striker; sister and brother-in-law, Lanette and Wayne Cox of Reklaw; four grandchildren, Stormy Wallace, Wendy Wallace and Billy Wallace all of Rusk and Dylan Gutierrez of Albuquerque; sister in-law and brother-in-law, Treva and Pete Hernandez of Bowie, Ariz.; step-brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Rhonda Birdwell of Rusk; stepsister, Jana Birdwell of Hudson, Colo.; sister-in-law, Barbara Singletary of Maydelle; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers were Jeffery Jones, Thomas Rogers, Wayne Foreman, Brandon Knight, Ron Tussing, Gail Wallace and John Tussing.
