Retha Irene Rawls

 Graveside services for Retha Irene Rawls, 87, of Jacksonville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Tillman Cemetery with Rev. Trampus Black officiating. Burial will be in Tillman Cemetery under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mrs. Rawls died Monday, March 10, 2008 in a Jacksonville Hospital. She was born May 21, 1920 in Cherokee County. She lived in Jacksonville for the last 25 years, having previously lived in Galveston. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Jacksonville. She was a minister and a God-called missionary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Woodrow Rawls. Survivors include her adopted daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Curtis Durrett, of Jacksonville; adopted grandchildren, Jeffrey Durrett, Curtis Durrett, Jr. and his wife, Debbie; great-grandchildren, Nick Durrett and Tracie Buffalo, all of Jacksonville; and an adopted sister, Chloe Tillman, of Jacksonville.
