RAY GATTIS

Graveside service for Ray Gattis, 83, of Jacksonville, is at 11 a.m. today at the Mixon Cemetery with the Rev. Randall Birdsong officiating.

Mr. Gattis died Saturday. He was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Jacksonville to Carl Dennis and Neoma Partin Gattis. He lived most of his life in Jacksonville and was a Baptist. Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, James T. Gattis; and a nephew, David Michael Sides. Survivors are his sister, Willie Townley of Jacksonville; four nieces, Linda Jean Watson, Diane Cavazos, Kay Stevens and Lisa Odom.

O.T. Allen & Son was in charge.
