Funeral for JoAnn Hopkins, 69, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Monday at the Autry Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Pete Freeman officiating. Burial was in Jarratt Cemetery. Mrs. Hopkins, died Nov. 2. She was born April 3, 1938, in Broaddus, She was a member of the Broaddus First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, Jennie Lee Pryor and a brother, Junior Stanley.

Survivors are her husband of 50 years, Joe Dan Hopkins of Jacksonville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nannette and John Thigpen of Jacksonville and Danita and Vernon Hudnall of Huntington; a brother, Max Edward Stanley of Lufkin; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Neillie Jack and Rudolf Sanders of Angleton and Norma Rhea Stanley of Broaddus; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Philip Hudnall, Colt Hudnall, Anthony Thigpen, Wayne Miller, J.W. Smiley and John Robert Zeigler.

 Funeral services for Jo Ann Hopkins, 69, of Jacksonville, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 in Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Pete Freeman officiating under the direction of the funeral home in Jacksonville. Burial was at Jarratt Cemetery in Jacksonville. Hopkins died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, in Hospice Home Place in Tyler. She was born April 3, 1938 in Broaddus. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Broaddus. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennie Lee Pryor and brother, Junior Stanley.
