HOWARD GLENN HENDERSON
Funeral for Howard Glenn Henderson, 59, formerly of the Pine Hill
community, was at 1 p.m. Feb. 29, at the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church
with the Rev. Julia Session, Elder Vernon Reed, Elder Thurman Reed, the
Rev. James Fuller and Elder Alford Garrett officiating. Burial was in
Union Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Henderson died Feb. 21. He was born Feb. 29, 1948, in Jacksonville and attended school at New Summerfield. He received his early training at the Pine Hill Church of God in Christ. He was a Cherokee County retiree.
Preceding him in death was his father, Oscar Henderson.
Survivors are his mother, Lorene Freeny of Jacksonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Nakia and Keylon Kincade of Dallas; a step-daughter, Lea Suance of Tyler; a brother, James Henderson of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Laura and Melvin Morris and Druscilla Jessie, all of Long Beach; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dallas Kincade, Melvin T. Morris, Larry Henderson, Melvin Alexander, Billie Jones and Floyd Story.
Honorary pallbearers were Thurmun Reed Jr., Willie Reed, Gary Reed, Clifton Reed, Curtis McEwing, Milford Reed and Frist Cousins.
