Elton Sessions

 Funeral services for Elton Sessions, 56, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in the Autry Funeral Home chapel in Jacksonville with the Rev. Ben Terry and Rev. Louis Dickey officiating.  Burial will follow in Myrtle Springs Cemetery. Mr. Sessions was born on November 15, 1951 in Cherokee County.  He died on November 17, 2007 in Tyler.  He was a retired truck driver with Henderson Clay Products.  He attended the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Sessions; and sister, Virginia Sue Armstrong. Mr. Sessions is survived by his father, Pearl Elton Sessions of Ponta; sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Lorie Sessions, Wesley and Jennifer Sessions of Kilgore; daughter, Stephanie Sessions of Edmond, Oklahoma; brothers, Donald Guinn of Jacksonville, Kenneth Sessions of Jacksonville, Lee Roy Sessions of Ponta, and Jimmy Sessions of Jacksonville; sisters Margaret McKinley of Henderson, Mary Martin of Whitehouse, Eva Rocha of Ponta, and Ella Faye Martin of Flint; six grandchildren; mother of his children, Vivian Sessions of Henderson; and special friend, Lynette Berry. Pallbearers will be Richard Overman, Thomas Overman, Keith Kuykendall, James Jones, Dewayne Bobbitt, and Pete Terry. Visitation will begin on Monday, November 19, 2007 with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Hospice HomePlace or the American Cancer Society. Mr. Sessions was born Nov. 15, 1951, in Cherokee County. He died Nov. 17. He was a retired truck driver with Henderson Clay Products. He attended the Church of Christ.
