CARL THOMPSON

Graveside service for Carl Richard Thompson, 69, of Coosada, Ala., formerly of Rusk, was at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Notasulga, Ala. with the Rev. Mark Brumbeloe officiating.

Mr. Thompson died Nov. 28 at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery, Ala. He was born Sept. 29, 1938. He was a long-time Rusk State Hospital employee and active in the Texas State Employees Union. He was a Democrat.

Survivors are a sister, Charlotte Causey of Coosada; a brother, Dudley Thompson of Prattville, Ala.; a half-brother; two half-sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were under the direction of Corbitt Funeral Home in Tuskegee, Ala.
