PAULINE E. WISE

Funeral for Pauline E. Wise, 96, of Alto was at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Alto First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Kirby Hill officiating. Burial was in Old Palestine Cemetery.

Mrs. Wise died April 28. She was born April 13, 1912, in Lott to Archie B. and Myrtle Brooks Robinson. She lived in Alto for the last 33 years and attended the First Baptist Church. She formerly lived in Houston for many years, where she worked as a butcher for Weingarten's & Lewis-Coker.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Bill Tardy and Eddie Tardy; a daughter, Patricia Crump; two sisters, Dorothy Doyle and Edna Brown; a brother, Edward Robinson; and grandsons, Jim Crump, Jay Tardy, Ronald Tardy Jr. and Ronald Fredrick Tardy.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Everett Rozell of Douglass; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jimmy Tardy of Crosby and Don and Elizabeth Tardy and Ron and Karen Tardy, all of Spring; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Harry Moore of Rusk; two nephews, Merrill Doyle and James Brown; two nieces, Joyce Yauch and Donna Payne; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tommy McClure, Gary McClure, Larry McClure, Durand Tardy, Randy Tardy, Ermon Gipson and Jim Hardy Jr. O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
