REEVES TAYLOR
Memorial service for Glynda M. Wallace Reeves Taylor of Pasadena was at 7 p.m. Feb. 16 at Rosewood Funeral Home. in Pasadena. Visitation and another service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 2019 North Edwards, Mount Pleasant.
Mrs. Taylor was born July 24, 1944, in Pasadena, Texas and died Tuesday, Feb. 3, in Houston after a six month battle with AML Leukemia. She was a cousin of Ernest R. Hudnall, Harold R. Hudnall and Weldon Wallace, all of Rusk.
She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1964. She was the first female volunteer firefighter in Mount Pleasant and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a lifelong member of Saint Andrew United Methodist Church. After graduating from Southwest Airlines Academy in February of 2000, she left Mount Pleasant and relocated back to Pasadena. She was employed by Southwest Airlines as a flight attendant. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Alton and Charlene Tilley Wallace.
In addition to her Rusk cousins, she is survived by her husband, Ric Taylor of Houston; her sister and brother-in- law, Shirley and Jim Harris of Pasadena; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tabathia and Allen Lunsford and Angela and Dennis Bradley; her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie Jr. and Paula McKaughanall of Mt. Pleasant; stepson and daughter-in-law, Adam and Tara Taylor of California; nephew and wife, Charles Alton and Teri Lee and niece, Teresa Lee of Pasadena; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Hearron, Candice Collard, Jessica Lunsford, Cody Bradley, Carlee Bradley, Trace McKaughan and Wyatt McKaughan; and two great-grandchildren, Ty Hearron and Allysah Diggs all of Mount Pleasant and great niece and nephews, Kristina and Caleb Pavlicek and Chad Lee all of Pasadena.
