MARGARET SWIFT OWEN
Memorial service for Margaret Swift Owen of Tyler, formerly of Rusk, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Stewart Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Anderson officiating. Burial will be held at East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, Ark.

Mrs. Owen died Aug. 24. She was born in Sutton, Ark., to the late Alvie Howard and Martha Lambert Erwin. Mrs. Owen was a homemaker, a state employee and a member of Rose Heights Church of God.

Preceding her in death were her husband and the father of her children, Malcolm M. Swift; one brother; two sisters; two grandchildren; and her husband of six years, Arris Owen.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Sue Swift of Dialville, and Steve and Judy Swift of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Phil Hall of Tyler; sister, Rose McDougald of Sutton, Ark.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Duncan, Cameron Hall, Christian Hall, Jessica Rice and Rebekah Sullivant; three great-grandchildren, John Smith, Lydia Rose Rice and Andrew Rice; and several nieces and nephews.
