MARY SUE LEWIS

 

Funeral for Mary Sue Lewis, 81, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dan Middleton officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Palestine.

Mrs. Lewis died Dec. 12. She was born Nov. 14, 1927, in Ardin, Ark.

She was employed by the State of Texas as a case worker and was a member of the Mount Selman United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Major Lloyd Lewis; mother, Margaret Lee Hollowell Lewis; two brothers and six sisters.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her sisters, Gene Hilland of Texarkana and Joy Ann Whitescarber of Elkhart; nieces, Janice Mayfield of Troup, Amy Davis, Linda Harrison and Becky Butcher, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
