SARAH MCCANN IRWIN

Funeral for Sarah McCann Irwin, 93, of Reklaw will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Cushing with Jack Orbison officiating. Burial will be in Walker Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Irwin died Sunday. She was born July 26, 1914, in Long Branch to Benjamin Holland and Emily Worley McCann. She lived most of her life in Reklaw and also resided in Houston and Lufkin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Reklaw Church of Christ. Preceding her in death were her husband, Luke H. Irwin; a daughter, Frances Ann Irwin; sons, Luke Irwin Jr. and Paul Rodney Irwin; grandson, Rodney Ray Irwin; brothers, Bill McCann, Carl McCann, Bennie McCann, Tate McCann; and sister, Julia Oden.

Survivors are two sons and a daughter-in-law, John H. Irwin of Reklaw and Byron and Patrica Ann Irwin of Spring; Grandchildren, Debbie Kubecker, Darla Hope, Keith Irwin, Byron Michael Irwin and Eric Irwin; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Akin, Byron Michael Irwin, Eric Irwin, Larry Irwin, Gary Irwin and Josh Irwin.
