  DOROTHY DOTSON

Funeral for Dorothy Jean (Doa) Dotson, 83, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Monday Autry Funeral Home chapel with Phillip Strong officiating. Burial was in Still Waters Memorial Garden. Mrs. Dotson was born on Jan. 11, 1925, in Kaufman County to the late Thurman and Ruby Holland. She died on May 9. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ of Jacksonville.

Survivors are her husband of 63 years, Glynn Adean Dotson of Jacksonville; daughter & son in law Sue and Frank Dublin of Jacksonville; grandsons and spouses, Trey and Megan Dublin of Bullard and Dean and Jill Dublin of Sachse; and great grandchildren, Trevor, Trenton, Tyton, Thatcher, Tate, Jackson, Walker and Julianna.

Pallbearers were Charles Humphreys, Alvin Martin, Pete Betts, Eddie Arrington, Mike Terry and David Warren.

Phillip Strong officiating. Burial will follow in Still Waters Memorial Garden in Jacksonville. Mrs. Dotson was born on Jan. 11, 1925, in Kaufman County to the late Thurman and Ruby Holland. She died on May 9, 2008 in Jacksonville. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ of Jacksonville. Visitation will begin on Sunday, May 11, 2008 with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
