Arnold “Mutt” Dosser
Services for Arnold “Mutt” Dosser, 84, of Rusk, will be held at 2 p.m.
Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Don
Copeland and the Rev. Tommy Mabry officiating. Burial will be at Mt.
Comfort Cemetery.
Mr. Dosser died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in Jacksonville.
He was born Aug. 15, 1922, in Alderbranch, Texas.
He was a mechanic and a farmer. A Baptist, he served in the U.S. Army
during World War II and was a member of Disabled American Veterans. He
is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Dosser.
Survivors include his four sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold Ray and
Dorothy Dosser of Rusk, Tommy and Vonda Dosser of Rusk, Donald Ray and
Shirley Dosser of Jacksonville and Larry Dosser of Rusk; his two
daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Beth and Juan Hernandez of Wells and
Patsy and Richard Prieto of Jacksonville; his two brothers, John Wesley
Dosser of Maydelle and James Dosser of Abilene; his sister, Anita McPike
of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers include William Allen Vaught, Ronnie Norton, Paul Michael
Dosser, Dewayne Dosser, James Dosser and Billy Lankford.
Honorary pallbearers include David Westbrook, Cotton Norton, Donald
Trawick, David Dosser, Billy T. Dixon and Bobby Hollis.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the funeral home.
