JEAN RUTH VAN CLEAVE

Graveside service for Jean Ruth Van Cleave, 73, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Friday, at Meador Cemetery with the Rev. Eric Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Van Cleave died May 13. She was born March 27, 1935, in Houston to Johnie Harris and Ruby Erskine Harris. She was a Baptist and a retired nurse.

Mrs. Van Cleave was preceded in death bya son, Thomas Dwayne Van Cleave and parents Johnnie and Ruby Harris. Survivors are her husband of 57 years Kenneth (Bud) Van Cleave of Jacksonville; sons and daughters-in-law Richard Van and Lujene O'Dell Van Cleave of Arlington, B. Keith and Melissa Van Cleave, and K. Dale and Sheila Van Cleave, all of Jacksonville; sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Chuck Russell of Georgetown; brother and sister-in-law Osa and Alice Harris of Houston; grandsons Adam Van Cleave of Arlington and Drew Van Cleave of Lake Jackson; great grandson, Tyler Van Cleave of Lake Jackson; nieces, Alicia Howard of Jupiter, Fla. and Elizabeth Jean Singhurst of Austin; nephew, Ken Russell of Burnett; cousin and family Nancy and Reb Bacehus of Georgetown; uncle, Tom Erskine of Corpus Christi. Autry Funeral Home was in charge.
