EVA CHITWOOD
Funeral for Eva Chitwood, 94, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Sunday at
Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Smith and the Rev. Phillip
Warren officiating. Burial was in Corine Cemetery.
Mrs. Chitwood died May 21. She was born Sept. 4, 1913 in Jacksonville to Eli Bradford White and Lucy Horton White. She was a lifetime member of Friendship Baptist Church and taught Sunday school there for many years.
Mrs. Chitwood was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Claude Chitwood. Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law Molly and Jim Kolb and Jan and Chester Patton, all of Jacksonville; grandchildren Mike Kolb, Gilmer, Keith Kolb, San Francisco, Kim McCall, all of Bullard and Tammy Minton of Jacksonville; great-grandchildren Candice Pryor, Adam Meza, Jade Sexton, Ashley Kolb, and Christi Smith; great-great grandchildren Melonnie, Maryssa, Jordyne, and Evangelina; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Lewie Lake, Darvis Davis, Jason Stewart, Mike Kolb, Keith Kolb and Adam Meza.
