Graveside services for Juanita Barnes, 94, resident of Bonner Place, Jacksonville are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2008 at Resthaven Memorial Park, Jacksonville with Bro. Larry Smith officiating. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mrs. Barnes died Thursday, May 22, 2008 in Jacksonville. She was born Jan. 15, 1914 in Gary, in Panola County to Thomas T. Moseley and Mary Elizabeth Tompkins Moseley. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Jacksonville and was a homemaker. Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband Jack Barnes and sister Thelma Hassell. She is survived by brother Clifford Moseley, of Jacksonville; four sisters Mildred Grantham and Nellie Pugh, both of Jacksonville, and Lessie Smith and Rosalie Shelton of Bellingham, Wa; nieces and nephews and special niece Anita Tuck. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the funeral home. Published in the Jacksonville Daily Progress on 5/25/2008.
