Floye Ballard

Graveside services for Floye Ballard, 94, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Waldrop Cemetery, Carthage, with Bro. David Hallum officiating. Mrs. Ballard died Saturday, May 24, 2008 in Tyler. She was born Dec. 13, 1913 to James H. Ballew and Mertie Torbet Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph and sons Joe, Jimmy and Lloyd. She is survived by daughter Marie Worley of Garland; sisters Edith Knight of Oklahoma, Electra Burleson of Tyler and Juanita Mallett of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will received friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the funeral home. Published in the Jacksonville Daily Progress on 5/25/2008.
