WILLIAMSON
Graveside service for Jack Williamson, 73, of Gallatin, was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Piney Grove Cemetery with Chase Palmer officiating.
Mr. Williamson died Dec. 12. He was born January 20, 1935, in Gallatin. He was the retired owner of the Diamond Cab Co. in Houston, was a member of the Liberty Opry Association and the Church Of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Josiah Williamson; mother, Lena May Beard Williamson; brother, Billie Sam Williamson; and sister, Eleen Bridges.
Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, John and Delana Williamson of Picayune Miss.; daughter, Violet Smith Williamson of Gulfport, Miss.; three brothers, Jamie Williamson of Onalaska, Ed Williamson of Ruckersville, Va. and A.L. Williamson of Houston; three sisters, Jonelle Spedale and Kaye Von Bostock, both of Gallatin and Frances Hamby of Perry Fla.; five grandsons; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Gallatin Volunteer Fire Department and grandsons. Autry Funeral Home was in charge.
