VERA LEORA PERRY WHITE

 

Funeral for Vera Leora Perry White, 98, of Jacksonville, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Autry Funeral Home chapel.

Burial will be in Jarratt Cemetery.

Mrs. White died Dec. 28. She was born Aug. 20, 1910, to G. L. Perry and Ida Bell Jenkins Perry in Dialville.

Mrs. White was a life-long Cherokee County resident.

She was a song leader and pianist for several churches, a charter member of the Rebekah of Texas and member of both the Eastern Star and Abundant Life Tabernacle.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Edward White; her father, G. L. (Lee) Perry in 1979; mother, Ida Bell Jenkins Perry; granddaughters, Kathy White, Lorie White and Kathy Robinson; grandsons, Brian and David White; great-granddaughter, Sandy White; and son-in-law, Everett (Bo) Robinson.

Survivors are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Elvis White Sr. of Lake Palestine and Larry and Sandy White of Turney; daughter, Loretta Robinson of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Robinson, Jimmy Sides, Lance White, Kevin Crim, Larry White and David Woods.
