REV. DONALD WHITE
Funeral for Rev. Donald White, 81, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville with Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Burial was at Corine Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Mr. White died Jan. 6 in Jacksonville. He was born June 24, 1927 in Paducah. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, the Masonic Lodge in Levelland and served with the Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mildred White.
Mr. White is survived by his wife, Norma White of Jacksonville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David White of Terrell, John and Marla White of Jacksonville; a sister, Floycille Henderson of Gastonia; four grandchildren: Lacey, Lane, Walker and Canyon and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Spencer Gray, Dirk Gray, Ben Hamilton, Chance Hamilton, Greg Allen and Farrel Pollard.
Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
