Maxine C. Watson

 

Funeral services for Maxine C. Watson, 78, of Bullard are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2008 at the First Baptist Church, Bullard with Bro. Tom Pesnell and Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Bullard Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mrs. Watson died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in Garland. She was born Oct. 28, 1929 to Oscar and Lucy Crockett. Mrs. Watson was a member of First Baptist Church, Bullard. She was a mental health worker and retired in 1985 from Rusk State Hospital with 14 1?2 years of service. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband Louie Watson; brothers James Crockett and Audaine Crockett; and sisters Ruby Carnes and Mary Lou Langley. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Erma and Robert Thielbar, of Elk City, Okla. and Beverly and Olden Wagoner, of Garland; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Sue Watson, of Bedford, N. H., five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Edward Crockett, Scottey Benge, Shawn Crockett, Howard Watson, Jamie Watson and Bo Watson. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the funeral home. Published in the Jacksonville Daily Progress on 5/29/2008.
