MARGIE MARIE ALLEN WALLACE
Graveside service for Margie Marie Allen Wallace, 75, of New London was at 3 p.m., Friday, April 11, at the Alto City Cemetery with the Rev. George Bourque and Chaplain Carie Ponder officiating.
Mrs. Wallace died April 8. She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Alto, to the late Raymond and Agnes Felder Allen.
She was a resident of New London for seven months and formerly lived in Rusk. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church, a retired convenience store manager and health care provider.
Preceding her in death were two sons, Ray Lusk and Tommy Lusk; a brother, Charles Allen and a sister, Virginia Harris; and a son-in-law, Gaylon Moore.
Survivors are three sons and one daughter-in-law, Marvin Lusk of Nacogdoches, Bruce and Teresa Lusk of Central Heights, and DeWayne Wallace of Jacksonville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris and Leslie Parker of Rusk, Janette Moore of Troup and Ginger and Eddy Shorter of Laneville; two sisters, Katherine French of Jacksonville and Doris Williams of Lake Jackson; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements were under the direction of Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home.
