LURA GAIL ROZELL

 

Funeral for Lura Gail Rozell, 88, was at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Huddleston officiating.

Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Rozell died Nov. 27. She was born July 20, 1920, in Cherokee County to James and Lula Morris and worked for Henson-Kickernick brassiere factory and Singer sewing factory for many years.

She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Jack Price; parents, James and Lula Morris; and six brothers.

Survivors are her husband, Clyde Rozell of Jacksonville; two sons, Billy Wayne Rozell of Flower Mound and Bobby Joe Rozell of Jacksonville; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Rick Smith of Pella, Iowa; grandchildren, John Price of Jacksonville, Melissa Wimmer of Pella, Bridgett Bateman of Jacksonville, Brent Smith of Pella, Marc Rozell of Flower Mound, Allison Rozell of Flower Mound and Hannah Rozell of Flower Mound; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers were Marc Rozell, Brent Smith, Rick Smith, Jerry Don Vickery, Bobby Vickery and Steven Bateman.
