DERECK DELON ROSS

Funeral for Dereck DeLon Ross, 25 of Alto will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at St. Thomas Chapel CME Church in Alto. Burial will be St. Thomas Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Ross died Thursday. He was born Sept. 26, 1982, in Madisonville to Woodie and Selethia McKnight Ross. He lived most of his life in Alto and was a member of the St. Thomas Chapel CME Church. He was an Alto High School graduate and was employed at Lufkin State School.

Survivors are his parents, Woodie and Selethia Ross of Alto; grandparents, Lonnie Ann Ross and Woody Ross, both of Alto; brother, Trimaine Ross of Alto; aunts, Natasha McKnight and Latonya Tryon, both of Crockett; uncles, Darrell Roos of Alto, Larry McKnight, Joe McKnight and Gary McKnight, all of Crockett. O.T. Allen & Son is in charge of arrangements.
