DAVID WAYNE ROARK

Graveside service for David Wayne Roark, 43, of Wells was at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Old Palestine Cemetery with Brenda Roark officiating.

Mr. Roark died Thursday in Wells. He was born Aug. 18, 1964, in Jacksonville to Don and Helen Baker Roark. He lived in Alto most of his life before moving to Wells. He attended the Weches Pentecostal Church when he was younger.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Helen Baker Roark; grandfather and grandmother Baker; grandfather, Charles Roark and an aunt.

Survivors are his parents, Don and Elizabeth Roark of Kennard; grandmother, Mary Roark of Alto; brother, Larry Roark of Etoile; half-brother, Paul Roark of Kennard; stepbrother, Charles Burran and wife, Donna of Lufkin; stepsister, Debra Burran of Kennard; uncles, Lindall Roark and wife, Brenda, of Houston, Glen Roark of Alto and Wendall Baker of Lufkin; two nieces; and one nephew. O.T. Allen & Son was in charge.
