RUBY REID

 

Funeral for Ruby Reid, 81, of Alto will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Davy R. Hobson and Rev. Don Copleand officiating. Burial will be in Lynches Chapel Cametery. Mrs. Reid died Sunday. She was born Dec. 2, 1927, in Alto to Tom R. and Eva McClure Miller Butler. She lived most of her life in the Jones Chapel community and was a member of the Muse Baptist Church. She was secretary for the Rusk First United Methodist Church for 28 years and volunteered at the Good Samaritan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Reid. Survivors are a son, Don Reid of Alto; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Andy Munsingser of Rusk; a sister, Mary Reid of Alto; two granddaughters, Heather and Emily Barron; two greatgranddaughters, Madison and Makenzie Soto.
