LANE H. REDDEN

Funeral for Lane H. Redden, 75, of Rusk was at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Johnny Emerson officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Redden died Aug. 17. She was born Oct. 5, 1932, in Otto to the late Henry and Zelda Waltz Hilbert. She was a Rusk resident for 43 years and formerly lived at Marlin. She was a member of Church On The Rock in Rusk and retired from Rusk State Hospital after many years of service.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Lloyd Redden in 1980; and a brother, Buddy Hilbert. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roland and Dora Redden of Venus and Roger and Laura Redden of Rusk; two daughters and a son-in-law, Rhonda Woodall of Livingston and Rebecca and David Hughes of Rusk; her step-father, Horace Fowler of Troy,; a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Leon Breitkreutz; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Coy and Linda Hilbert of Nolanville, Rex Hilbert of Waxahachie and Marion and Connie Fowler of Troy; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Michael Foster, Jason Foster, Nathan Foster, Cody Wortham, Clifford Redden and Billy Lankford Jr.

Funeral services for Lane H. Redden, 75, of Rusk are scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008 in Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Emerson officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.

Mrs. Redden died Aug. 17, 2008 in a Tyler Hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1932 in Otto, to the late Henry and Zelda Waltz Hilbert.

Family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 18, 2008.
