WILLIAM L. (BILL) PYLE

Graveside service for William L. (Bill) Pyle, 79, of Baton Rouge, La., formerly of Weches was at 10 a.m. Friday at the Weches Cemetery with Cherokee County Judge Chris Davis officiating. Mr. Pyle died July 29.

He lived most of his life in Louisiana and for the last few years in Baton Rouge.He worked many years as a diesel mechanic, working on heavy equipment.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Joyce Pyle; son, John Bourgeois; sister, Katheryn Jennings; and his parents, Lonnie and Sally Compton Pyle.

Survivors are his wife, Kathy B. Pyle; two daughters, Patti Pyle Tregre and Elizabeth Bourgeois; three sons, William Pyle, Mike Pyle and Bailey Bourgeois; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Maxine Huckeba, Nollie Campbell, Maybell Kellum and Betty Jo Davis; and a brother, Richard Pyle.
