VIRGIE LEE OVERALL

Funeral for Virgie Lee Overall, 96, of Rusk was at 2 p.m., Saturday in the Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Don Copeland officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery.

Mrs. Overall died Feb. 14. She was born Nov. 12, 1911, in Rusk to Ed and Jenny Booth Jones.

She was a lifelong resident of Rusk and the Dialville area. She was a member of the Dialville United Methodist Church. She retired from Nichols Industries after 20 years. Upon her retirement, she owned and operated a childcare at her home in Rusk.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Gaston Overall and a daughter Daisy Overall in 1995.

Survivors are a son, Barney Overall of Shreveport, La.; a daughter, Elsie Odom of Irving; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Bobby Woods, Hank Jones, Edward Hassell, Ernest Earl Higginbotham, Bubba Kimbrell and Joel Armstrong.
