BARNEY MERLE OVERALL

 

Graveside service for Barney Merle Overall, 76, of Shreveport, La. was at 1 p.m. Monday at the Providence Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Higginbotham officiating. Mr. Overall died Oct. 17. He was born Dec. 25, 1931, in Rusk, to the late Gaston and Virgie Lee Jones Overall. He resided in Shreveport for 51 years, was a member of the Dialville United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a retired custodian for Kroger Foods in Shreveport for 14 years. Preceding him in death were two children, Lewis Amos Overall and Judy Overall. Survivors are a sister, Elsie Odom of Irving; a niece; a nephew; three great-nieces; a great-great-niece; and a great-great-nephew. Wallace- Thompson Funeral Home was in charge
