LETA JO MOWREY

Memorial service for Leta Jo Mowrey, 67, of Alto, will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the home of Sherry Hicks Carrell and the former home of Mrs. Mowrey. Mrs. Mowrey died Feb. 17. She was born Dec. 3, 1940, in Alto to Paul B. and Dorothy Bivens Moake. She worked as an LVN in several different locations including the Alto Care Center. She lived in Alto and New Boston. She was a Primitive Baptist.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Don Richardson; a daughter, Donna Richardson Creel; great-grandmother, Mattie Mae Bivens; mother, Dorothy Moake; father, Paul B. Moake; and husband, Jerry Mowrey.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Dena Richardson of Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Farrell Carrell of Alto; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Virginia Moake of Alto; grandchildren, Shanna Selman, John Hicks, Mark Richardson, Haley Richardson, Teresa Blair, Gena Carrell and Jaycie Richardson; great grandchildren, Katlynn Hicks and Josie Selman; and other relatives and friends. O.T. Allen & Son will be in charge.
