Sallie Ann Miles Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie
Ann Miles, 51, of Jacksonville will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008
at Renfro Memorial Chapel at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Pastor Richard Spencer will officiate. Burial will be at Gossett Chapel
Cemetery in Jacksonville under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral
Home. Mrs. Miles went to be with her Lord and Savior at her residence on
Monday, Jan. 21, 2008. She was born Feb. 27, 1956, in Jacksonville and
was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville. She was a member of the
Fellowship Bible Church in Jacksonville and had worked as a school bus
driver for Jacksonville and Troup ISDs. She was also a professional
seamstress and was known for making homemade quilts and gifts for her
grandchildren. Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her parents, Noble
and Phyllis Rollins. Survivors include her husband, Doug Miles of
Jacksonville; sons, Bobby Ray Miles of Lake Charles, La., Christopher
DeWayne Lynch of Whitehouse and Aniello Ray Miles of Rusk; daughter,
Shirley Ann Nance of Jacksonville; brother, George Rollins of Vermont;
sister, Kathy Hoffhines of Alaska; five grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild. Pallbearers are Bobby Miles, Bobby Nance and members
of the Fellowship Bible Church. Honorary pallbearers include Christopher
Lynch. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the
funeral home.
