Funeral Ottie Mae McGee, 85, of Rusk, was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville with the Rev. Bill Garner officiating. Burial was in Jarratt Cemetery.
Mrs. McGee died Oct. 16. She was born March 20, 1923, in Cherokee County.
In the late 1940's and early 1950's, she was employed by the Peacock's Basket factory. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Gallatin Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her father, Jesse Bailey; her mother, Maude Mae Parsons Bailey; husband, Velvin (Little Boy) McGee; infant twin sons, Leonard Earl and Raymond Pearl McGee; grandsons, Michael Dean Richards, Marcus McGee, Joshua Michael Reid; granddaughter, Tara McGee; one sister and three brothers.
Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Judy McGee of Kingwood and Richard and Krisy McGee of Jacksonville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Dan Richards and Jeanette and Bill Garner, all of Rusk; nine grandchildren,; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Kurt Lonergan, Clay Carroll, Mickey Mickenheimer, Mike McCollom, Vincent McGee, Cary Willhoite, Lucas Willhoite and Stephen Wilson.
