RANEE JUNE MARSHALL

 

Services for Ranee June Marshall, 75, of Azle and formerly of Rusk, were at 2 p.m. Monday at Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel, Rusk, with the Rev. Michael Caldwell officiating.

Burial will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Rusk.

Mrs. Marshall died Jan. 9 at her residence. She was born June 12, 1933 in Rusk to the late Warren Meredith and Mildred Idell LaGasse Echols. She lived in Tyler and Rusk before moving to Azle.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rusk and received her associate degree in nursing from Lamar University in Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Marshall.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law; Warren Wenn and Gayle Waldrup of Pflugerville and Ian William Waldrup of Tyler; four daughters and two sons-in-law; Karen Taylor of Bullard, Kathy and Eric Fisher of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; Megan St. Clair of Austin and Eren and Gaylon Cobb of Azle; two brothers and sistersin law; Donall Michael and Cherie Echols of Port Arthur and Jhan and Ernie Echols of Nederland; stepmother Evelyn Echols of Groves; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include Greg Guynn, Gaylon Cobb, Andy St. Clair, H.L. Holbrook, Austin Cobb and Emily St. Clair.
