Mary Evelyn Lenard

Services for Mary Evelyn Lenard, 82, Alto, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Boren-Conner Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville, with the Rev. Odis Bryant officiating. Mrs. Lenard died May 12, 2008, in Jacksonville. She was born July 2, 1925, in Polk County. She lived in the Alto area 80 years and retired from Lexington Place Nursing Home, Rusk. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, Everett “Bo” Robinson. Survivors include her husband, C.H. Lenard, of Alto; sons, Byron Earle Phillips, of Tyler, and Albert “Scoote” Lee Forrester, of Jacksonville; daughter, Mary Anne Forrester, of Bowling Green, Ky., and Lenard McAnally, of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
