Funeral services for Trevor Gauge Lankford, 5, of Rusk are scheduled for 4 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in First Baptist Church in Rusk with Rev. Curtis Oliver officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk. Trevor died May 8, 2008 in a Rusk Hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 2002 in Nacogdoches. He was a resident of Rusk. He was enrolled in Pre-K at Mount Enterprise ISD. He attended Branded By Christ Cowboy Church in Rusk. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cherry Lynn Grimes. He is survived by his father and step mother, Donald and Lindsey Lankford of Rusk; step father, Phillip Grimes of Rusk; sister, Lauren Sierra Lankford of Rusk; half brother, Trenton Glenn of Rusk; step brother, Dakota Grimes of Rusk; grandmother, Donna Faye Miller of Rusk; grandparents, Terry and Harley Matthews Jr. of Monroe, La., Billy W. and Lori Lankford of Rusk, Jan and Steve Conway of Rusk; great grandparents, Billy and Bessie Lankford of Rusk, James P. Miller of Shreveport, La., George and Allene Wagner of Hooper, Neb., numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will include Neill Holcomb, Wayne Morgan, Terry Phillips and James Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be other members of the Rusk Fire Department. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral for Trevor Gauge Lankford, 5, of Rusk was at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Rusk First Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Oliver officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Trevor died May 8 in a Rusk hospital of injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born Nov. 15, 2002, in Nacogdoches and resided in Rusk. He was enrolled in Pre-K at Mt. Enterprise. He attended Branded By Christ Cowboy Church in Rusk. His mother, Cherry Lynn Grimes, also died of injuries sustained in the accident. He is survived by his father and step mother, Donald and Lindsey Lankford of Rusk; step-father, Phillip Grimes of Rusk; sister, Lauren Sierra Lankford of Rusk; halfbrother, Trenton Glenn Lankford of Rusk; grandparents, Donna Faye Miller of Rusk, Terry and Harley Matthews Jr. of Monroe, La., Billy W. and Lori Lankford of Rusk and Jan and Steve Conway of Rusk; great-grandparents, Billy and Bessie Lankford of Rusk, James P.
