Private graveside service was held for Evelyne B. Kiely, 83, of Jacksonville. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Jacksonville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Edwin Crank and the Rev. Dr. Faulk Landrum officiating.
Mrs. Kiely died Oct. 14. She was born June 11, 1925, in New Salem, Rusk County, to Cecil Franklin (Dock) Bunn and Ethel Irene Wiggins Bunn.
Mrs. Kiely was a member of the First United Methodist Church and owner of Kiely Printing Co. in Jacksonville for 50 years. She was active in church, the Chamber of Commerce and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was named Jacksonville Business Woman of the Year in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Kiely Jr.; her parents, Cecil F. (Dock) and Irene Bunn; brothers, Malcomb, Ray and Doyle Bunn; sister, Rita Evans; and nephews, Jerry and Earl Evans.
Survivors include her sister, Atrell Sanders of Henderson; sister-in-law, Annie Lou Bunn of New Summerfield; brother in law and sister-in-law, the Rev. Harry and Arlene Kiely of Silver Springs, Md.; nephews, Cecil Bunn and wife Rose Mary of Alexandria, La., Ted Bunn and wife Judy of Jacksonville, David Bunn and wife Ester of Henderson, Gary Sanders and wife Debbie of Henderson and Kim Sanders and wife Allison of Traverse City, Mich.; and nieces, Myrna McKinney and husband James of Frankston, Brenda Childress and husband Mike of Keller; and many great nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; former employees and two special caregivers.
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until service time, Oct. 17 at the First United Methodist Church, Jacksonville.
Memorials may be made to the scholarship fund of one of the local junior colleges: Jacksonville College, 105 B. J. Albritton Drive, Jacksonville 75766 or Lon Morris College, 800 College Avenue, Jacksonville. Arrangements were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.
