KENNETH WAYNE (KENNY) HOUSTON
Graveside service for Kenneth Wayne (Kenny) Houston, 56, of Bullard
formerly of Rusk was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Salem Cemetery
with the Rev. Garrell Faulkner officiating.
Mr. Houston died Feb. 18. He was born Sept. 20, 1951, in Royce City to Dranon Eugene and Wanda Jean King Houston. He was a resident of Bullard one year and formerly lived at Rusk. He was a truck driver for more than 25 years. He was Methodist. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-71.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Dranon and Wanda Houston; and a brother, Gary Houston. Survivors are his sister, Sharon Hunt of Nacogdoches; two nephews and their wives, Chris and Shannon Hunt of Beeville and Matthew and Anna Hunt of Nacogdoches; a niece, Stephanie Houston of Dallas; numerous aunts and uncles, close friends and caregivers, Mary Edmiston and Robert Robinson.
Pallbearers were Audie Key, Robert Robinson, Robert Thompson, Carol King, Scott Gorsuch and Michael Caten. Honorary pallbearers were Randy Allen Key, Stephen Key, Randy King and Christian Smith. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
