LURINE GUINN

 

Funeral for Lurine Guinn, 82, of Alto was at 1 p.m. Monday in the St. Thomas Chapel Church. Burial was in St. Thomas Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Guinn died Nov. 19. She was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Alto to John and Emma Hamilton Thacker. She lived most of her life in Alto and attended St. Thomas Chapel Church. She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and a sister. Survivors are two daughters and a son-in-law, Kim Colter and Richard Smith of Crockett and Elaine Smith of Dallas; grandchildren, Lavodrick Singletary, Kaylon Alexander, Jaquamos Jones, Tavares Jones, Keisha Brown, Jason Brown and Adrianna Sears; great-grandchildren, Semajdre Gasaway, Braylan Gassaway and Jayea Brown; nieces, Lavonia Breedlove and Ozetta Mitchell, both of Alto and Dorothy Smith of California; nephews, George Lee Thacker of Alto and Presley Willis of Austin; other nieces, nephews and relatives. O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
