JAY GILMORE JR.
Memorial service for (Happy) Jay Gilmore Jr., 54, of Jacksonville, was at 2: p.m. Oct. 17 at Autry Funeral Home with the Rev. Trampus Black and Bernie Hutson officiating.
Mr. Gilmore died Oct. 12. He was born Oct. 29, 1953, in Coronado, Calif.
Mr. Gilmore was employed as a radiology tech in the medical industry, and was a member and former president of the Cherokee Wind Warriors motorcycle club and served with the Army during the Vietnam War as a PV1.
Survivors are his his wife, Cynthia Johns Gilmore of Jacksonville; parents, Tim Gilmore and wife, Pat of Alvin; son, Jason, L. Gilmore of Jacksonville; two daughters, Tiffany Gilmore of Georgia and Cheyenne Renne' Gilmore of Jacksonville; a sister, Sharon Holland of Alvin; brother, Richard Gilmore of Houston; one granddaughter, Caitlyn Gilmore of Jacksonville, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
