AARON FOSTER
Funeral for Aaron Foster, 87, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Bullard Church of Christ with Glenn Cogburn officiating. Burial was in Bullard Cemetery.
Mr. Foster died Friday. He was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Dialville to Garrett Foster and Lucy Stripling Foster. He served in the Army Air Corps, was a member of the Church of Christ in Bullard and was formerly a welder.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Sarah Leone Harris Foster.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Elaine Foster and Chet and Hannah Foster, all of Bullard; three brothers, Dewayne Foster of Bryan, Jerry Foster of Mount Pleasant and James Neal Foster of Jacksonville; two sisters, Lee Etta Cook and Virginia Foster, both of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren, Justin, Holly, Robyn, Taylor, Matthew, Sarah and Destiny; four great-grandchildren, Makena, Hayden, Wyatt and Hudson; and numerous nieces and nephews
Pallbearers were Bruce Stripling, Charles Ray, Billy Harris, David Adams, Randy Spears and Doug Dupree.
Arrangements were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.
