JAMES PAUL DOMINY

 

Funeral for James Paul Dominy, 61, of Sacul, was at 1 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Sacul Baptist Church. Burial was in in Sacul Cemetery.

Mr. Dominy died Nov. 10 in Sacul. He was born April 22, 1947, in Rusk to Earl and Thelma Scruggs Dominy. He lived in the Rusk area for many years and in Sacul for 11 years. Mr. Dominy worked as a police officer in Fort Worth and a homicide detective in Harris County. He was employed as a landman in the oilfield industry. He was a Baptist.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Yvonne Dominy; sister, Earline Watson; and brother, Albert Dominy.

Survivors are his wife, Marti Eastin of Sacul; son, Nathan Dominy of Jacksonville; brother, L.Ray Dominy of Gallatin; and sister, Jo Ann Landrum of Highlands.

Pallbearers were Earl Smith, Lewis (Toot) Shanick, Bill Allen, Gregg Lucky, Phillip Scruggs and Mike Dominy.

Arrangements were under the direction of Dickie Allen Funeral Home.
