Funeral for Addie Mae Bowman, 93, of Rusk will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Muse Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Bowman, the Rev. Don Wayne Moore II, the Rev. Ricky King and the Rev. Harold Dement officiating. Burial will be in Muse Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowman died Nov. 16. She was born Nov. 6, 1915, in Rusk to the late James Birton and Frances Jane Masters Reid. She was a resident of Rusk for five years and formerly lived in Grapeland. Mrs. Bowman was a member of Muse Missionary Baptist Church and a housewife.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Birt and Frances Reid; her husband, G.W. Bowman; nine brothers and one sister. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Bobby Nolley of Rusk and JoEl and Tony King of Rusk; son and daughter-in law, Danny and Mollie Bowman of Grapeland; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Shirley Reid of Grapeland; five sisters-in-law, Mary Reid and Ruby Reid, both of Alto, Beth Reid of Houston, Birtie Bowman of Grapeland and Pauline Perry of Rusk; one brother-in-law, Emory Ward of Grandview; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Tim King, Dale King, Bill Bowman, Charlie Wages, Harold Dement and Don Wayne Moore II.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Moore and Randy King. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
