 Funeral services for A.J. Wyatt, 81, a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, are scheduled for Friday, March 14, at 2:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Jacksonville, with Rev. Jack Thrift officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.

Mr. Wyatt passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in Jacksonville, Texas. A.J. was born in Itasca, TX on April 27, 1926 to Carl Wesley Wyatt and Rosie Bertha Reed Wyatt.

He was a disabled veteran, serving his country as a Sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Martha Wyatt and a brother, James Wyatt.

He is survived by a son: Sammy Wyatt, Clio, S.C., a grandson: Brian Wyatt, Clio, S.C. a brother: C.W. Wyatt, Jacksonville and a sister: Bertha Jones, Jacksonville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Glen Wyatt, Jeffery McIntyre, Bobby Wyatt, Bill Jones, Jimmy Wyatt, James Jones, Jerry Jones.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, March 13 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

A.J. WYATT

Funeral services for A.J. Wyatt, 81, lifelong Jacksonville resident, was at 2 p.m. Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Thrift officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Mr. Wyatt died March 12. He was born in Itasca April 27, 1926, to Carl Wesley Wyatt and Rosie Berth Reed Wyatt.

He was a disabled veteran, serving his country as a sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Martha Wyatt; and a brother, James Wyatt.

Survivors are a son, Sammy Wyatt of Clio, S.C.; a grandson, Brian Wyatt of Clio; a brother, C.W. Wyatt of Jacksonville; a sister, Bertha Jones of Jacksonville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Glen Wyatt, Jeffery McIntyre, Bobby Wyatt, Bill Jones, Jimmy Wyatt, James Jones and Jerry Jones. Arrangements were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.
