Christie Lee Turner

Services for Christie Lee Turner, 57, Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Autry Funeral Home with Associate Pastor Mike Bowen officiating.

Burial will be in the Still Waters Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Ms. Turner died June 24, 2007 in Tyler, Tx.

She was born August 6, 1949, in Santa Monica, California to Harold Ellison and Dorothy Marie Hamilton Ellison and lived in Jacksonville since 1989. She was employed as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services in Tyler and was a member of the Mount Selman Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy (Dottie) Ellison and step mother Jo Hellner Ellison.

Survivors include her daughter Daune Lurann Turner, San Francisco, CA, her dad Hal, Jacksonville, her sister Terrie Schuler, Vista CA, her brother Sgt. 1st Class Garrett Ellison, Mountainlake Terrace, WA, her step-brother Bob Hellner and his wife Chris of Klamath Falls, Oregon and step-sister Toby McDonald, Hayden, Idaho and one niece and four nephews.

Graveside service for Christie Turner, 57, of Jacksonville, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Still Waters Memorial Gardens under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.

Ms. Turner died June 24. She was born Aug. 6, 1949, in San Gabriel, Calif. She was a counselor with the Texas Rehabilitation Commission and a Baptist. Preceding her in death was her mother, Dorothy Ellison. Survivors are her father, Harold Ellison of Jacksonville; a daughter, Daune Turner; a brother, Garrett Ellison of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; a sister, Terrie Schuler of Vista, Calif. and a step-brother, Bob Hellner of Klamath Falls, Ore.
