Funeral services for Waylon Tipton, age 62, of New Summerfield are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2008 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Burial will follow at McDonand Cemetery, New Summerfield.
Mr. Tipton died Monday, March 31, 2008 in Jacksonville.
He was born in Jacksonville on March 20, 1946 to W. R. & Marie Tipton. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth Tipton of Iowa, Waylon Tipton, Jr. of California, and Glenn Tipton of Louisiana; daughters, Cherry Caster of Trinidad, Candace Janouske of New Mexico, and Nacole Isbell of Dallas; mother Marie Tipton of New Summerfield; sister, Linda Johnson of Whitney; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Birdwell, Jimmy Rawlinson, Tim Tipton, A. G. Limbaugh, Doug Clark, and Johnny Birdwell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Armando Fuentes, Walter Darden, Richard Bird, and Lee Carpenter.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, April 3 with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
