Funeral services for Daphne Ann Jones Thompson, age 38, of Rusk are scheduled for 3 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2007 in East Side Baptist Church with Rev. Don Copeland and Rev. Mike Bradford officiating.

Interment will be in Henry Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.

Mrs. Thompson died at 5:30 a.m., June 26, 2007 in a Jacksonville hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born February 3, 1969 in Jacksonville.

She is survived by her husband Douglas Thompson of Rusk, children Brandon Colby Jones of New Summerfield, James Douglas Thompson of Rusk, Jacob Ryan Thompson of Rusk, mother Shirley Stephens of Chaska, Minnesota, father Larry Don Goff of Rusk, stepmother, Helen Goff of Rusk, one brother and sister-in-law Donny and Shauna Goff of Rusk, three sisters and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Jim Verdoorn of Minnesota, Kristi Adams of Jacksonville and Angie Belk of Cushing, two step-sisters Kerri Hamilton of Rusk and Cindy Dyess of Rusk, one step-brother, Randy Stover of Rusk, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at the funeral home.
